I don’t know, I keep hearing I’ll get to see it this year, the official, ready to play, ready to ship version.
I’m goin out to NAMM this year, Jan 14-17, so you know I’ll be looking around to see if I can catch a peek at the beat thang.
I keep askin them about it, I just get told to “wait till namm” lol.
Well I’m tired of waitin! I been waiting since last namm when I first heard about the thang!
But it’s all good, if it is finally ready, then I’m ready to test it. The software is cool, but I think it’s the hardware that really is going to change things.
I don’t even know what it looks like! That’s an old pic on the left, they said it now has metal parts and is built very solid….we’ll see.
The thought of taking a beat machine with me anywhere, and running on battery power is crazy.
Let’s hope I get a chance to grab some exclusive video of it! Keep it locked, as I’ll try to get the info as soon as possible and post it up

Keep us posted and don’t forget extra battery packs for your vid-cam
Having something tangible would be nice to see, not to say that any doubt exists or anything. Hopefully the hardware’s street price would be more reasonable in reflection to other comparables already in stores i.e. Maschine.
I agree being able to have a “make beats-will travel” flexibility will make my lunch breaks at work and mass transit commutes a more interesting…just imagine having a portable mic hooked up for some live ambient sound sampling. Also I’m curious to see the pitch+mod wheel implementation, especially being they’re on opposing side of the unit (judging from what’s been shown thus far), that might make it a tad tangled trying to modulate and bang a pad depending on what manipulation one is trying to achive.
