I know a lot of you want to see this feature, as do I.
It’s a quick way of working in beat thang or any software/hardware.
Us mpc users are definitely used to it.
But, in this video I show you a workaround that pretty much gives us what we want
It’s not totally seamless, but it’s better than we thought actually and I think you’ll like it.
It’s called quick kit mode, so check it out and let me know what you think.
Please leave me comments and share this stuff….the Beat Kangz are watching this site so the more we get folks involved, the more input and influence we’ll have on the product.
let me know!

I’ve been looking for a program that would help me switch over from the MPC to software… and this looks like it. I just bought BTV off of the strength of your vids. Keep up the good work.

Nice man! Be sure to stay tuned and come back if you need any help. The software is growing and they are listening to us…the more of us get on here and comment, make suggestions, etc…the better.
The guy above you, Nadir…is the head of their marketing…so yeah…they are definitely watching us man!

I agree they definitely need to implement vst/au and probably even rewire format so folks can use it in their favorite daw.

This software is AMAZING! Quick question for you guys though: How do I edit patterns so that I can put them into song mode? For instance, I would mute a synth for the hook on one pattern and let it rock on a copy of the same pattern. How do I edit and save these patterns so I can input them into song mode?

Whas good man, glad you like their product.
The easiest way to do what you want is to duplicate the patterns and make changes to the copies. That way you’ll have multiple patterns, some with all the tracks, some with only a few, then you can put it together in a song.
